Description:POSITION OVERVIEW:Take advantage of a unique opportunity to join our team at Delta Fuel Company as a Dispatcher. The dispatcher is a very important roll at Delta Fuel Company. The dispatcher is responsible for planning and managing logistics, overseeing drivers' day to day operations, and customer service. This position will act as the point of contact for customers while managing all aspects of the order from creation to completion. This is a wonderful opportunity to become an important member of the team at Delta Fuel. .ESSENTIALS DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Booking truck loadsTracking Shipments to ensure all customers' requirements are metSystem and status updates to ensure visibility of all shipmentsTrackingProvide support for customersAssist with projects as directedWork alongside Transportation Manager and other local managersManage daily delivery schedule for driversManage driver monthly scheduleOversee driver time sheetsKeep track of HOS/Elogs for driversUnderstand and enforce DOT regulationsManage new driver training and training schedulesRecommend disciplinary decisions and actions to management teamAssists in establishing and evaluating driver performanceMonitors and validates accuracy of deliveries Requirements:QUALIFICATIONS / POSITION REQUIREMENTS:3+ years' experience in a related fieldCollege degree preferredAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) and Google DriveStrong organization, problem solving skills, and ability to think creativelyAbility to define a problem, collect data, identify, and apply solutionsAbility to work independently and handle multiple projectsProfessional written and verbal communication skillsManaging/utilizing multiple systemsTeam playerWilling to work weekendsPI7110a8dc3f4f-25660-#######9
