Our specialists will lead transportation functions to ensure accurate, timely delivery of products in the most efficient and cost-effective manner all while providing excellent customer service to our customers. This positions offers a hybrid work schedule (2 days from home 3 days in office) after fully trained.What The Candidate Will DoUse the Transportation Management System (TMS) to its fullest potential in order to facilitate the life cycle of an orderExceed customer on time pick-up and delivery expectationsEstablish and maintain effective relationships with carriersEffective and timely freight coverage and carrier selection through systemic routing guide and spot shipments including rate negotiationLeverage TMS to effectively route and consolidate orders considering best cost and transit options for all transportation modesMonitoring and resolving shipment data errorsProactive analysis to prevent service failuresProactively develop, recommend and implement cost savings and/or service improvement programs in support of the transportation strategyProfessional and timely communicationsIdentify patterns with shipper, receiver, and carrier performance and recommend actions for improvementResolve carrier invoice discrepancies in TMS financialsTrain new customer and vendor users on the TMS, demonstrating knowledge of customer business practices and workflowBasic QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED equivalent1+ years of transportation/logistics experienceProblem solving/Critical thinking skills a mustPreferred QualificationsBachelor\'s degree in transportation management or logisticsBasic understanding of BI and Tableau reportingIntermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteAbout Uber FreightUber Freight is a market-leading enterprise technology company powering intelligent logistics.
