Position Title: Sr. Logistics Coordinator Job Code: Department: Supply Chain and LogisticsEntity: Reports to: Supply Chain Operations Manager, LogisticsLocation: Mesquite Texas Position Summary:The Supply Chain Logistics' Coordinator will be responsible for the front-end processing and order processing function within the Logistics team. In this role, Supply Chain Logistics' Coordinator will work with internal and Managers in coordinating shipment requests across the regional warehouses and 3PL vendors. Primary Responsibilities:• Review written and electronic communication, which include BOL's, POD's, excel reports, ERP reports, email communication and special applications to gather and collect data.• Generates and maintains reports from SAP on a daily basis with most up-to-date information.• Reconciles reports on a daily basis to maintain clear and reliable data within SAP.• Builds a strong rapport and works closely with warehouse, freight vendors and internal clients to verify and collect the necessary proofs of shipments (Outbound documents), deliveries (POD), and statuses.• Reconcile reports from Freight vendor and/or Warehouse vendor to those that are SAP generated.• Data entry, as assigned, from written, electronic and various reports.• Troubleshoot SAP posting errors.• Accurately files and maintains documents and records. • Generates reports to report to management on open item volumes and estimated closed dates.• Provides excellent customer service to internal and external clientele, updating and responding to shipment and inventory inquire.• Provides Freight Quotes in a timely manner to all sales representatives.• Quarterly domestic travel to conduct Physical Inventory Audits. Occasional cross-coverage between Logistics department roles and responsibilities such as; warehouse shipment releases, freight awarding and day-to-day operations. Qualifications and Experience:• Detail oriented• Warehouse experience (5+ Years)• Freight transportation experience • Overall logistics experience• SAP ERP knowledge is a plus but not required.• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Project Plan, Visio).• Advance Excel skills required, Pivot Tables, V‐Lookups, and Formulas & Functions.• Associates degree required, or equivalent work experience.• Customer service experience and strong communication skills required.• Ability to communicate information and ideas clearly, concisely, and professionally with multiple levels of management.• Results oriented, organized, highly motivated, and detailed with the ability to multi‐ task and prioritize.• Ability to travel to the within the Americas on a quarterly basis.• Strong adaptability to new systems and technical platforms
