Role: Logistics/Transportation Specialist - Customer Service Representative
Location: Hagerstown, Maryland
Duration: 1 year contract will go perm after 1 year for the right people.
Pay Rates:
Morning Shift: $22.50/hr
Afternoon Shift: $24/hr
Interviews: One and Done onsite
Onboarding: Can be in the door 3-4 days after offer
Shifts:
1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm - 15 openings
2nd Shift, Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm - 15 opening
Must Have:
1 year of experience working in an administrative / clerical position
Pluses:
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to understand the perspective of several sides of the issue to achieve resolution, including carrier, supplier, freight pay, internal customer, etc.
Solid attention to detail with the ability to multitask
Excellent customer service, written and verbal communication skills
Experience in freight pay resolution
Understanding of transportation modes and rate structures for Supply Chain
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
Day to Day:
Schedule delivery appointments
Conduct freight tendering/carrier selection (with use of routing guide)
Monitor carrier performance/compliance issues
Perform data entry and track-and-trace duties
Provide freight pay and claims resolution
Notes:
- Overtime is likely!
-Has to be okay with working occasional Saturday
-Bilingual is a plus!
-Need DOB to submit
-Needs to be psychically able to walk the warehouse floor as it is big (No manual labor)
Compensation:
$__22.50__/hr to $__24___/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
