We have an Oil & Gas client based in Spring, TX looking for a Logistics Specialist to develop and sustain logistics benchmarking program focused primarily on Marine (bulk and packaged), Rail and Truck modes of transport.

Scope of Work
- Develop and sustain Logistics benchmarking program focused primarily on Marine (bulk and packaged), Rail and Truck modes of transport
- Key activities include identifying core KPIs to measure global performance across modes of transport, working with key vendors who can provide competitor intelligence and gathering internal data to benchmark against
- Work cross-Logistics and teams to execute benchmark activities
- Requires strong collaboration skills
- Requires ability to critically assess situations and provide industry insights (Logistics marine knowledge a bonus)
- Strong performer who can deliver
- Data familiarity and analysis skills needed
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Works with Aviation and Procurement to optimize both helicopter and fixed wing transportation.
- Ensures all logistical support activities follow proper company process and control.
- Provides expertise for remote, onshore and offshore logistics including marine support commissioning, material transfer and start up procedures.
- Participates in emergency preparedness doctrine, training and drills.
- Provides more technical/functional support than administrative support.
- Makes decisions within broad parameters.
Skills & Qualifications
- BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or other Technical degree
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to network effectively across organizations.
- Demonstrates a thorough working knowledge of technology, applications, terminology, and procedures required of job function.
