Description SAIC is seeking a Logistics Analyst to provide full time Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and analysis for the Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System (EMALS) and Advance Arresting Gear (AAG) programs. Candidate will support the EMALS and AAG Division Assistant Program Manager for Logistics (APML), as well as the EMALS APML, the AAG APML, and the other EMALS and AAG Deputy Assistant Program Managers for Logistics (DAPMLs). Tasking:
- Assist in developing, planning and implementing Integrated Logistics Support for the life cycle of assigned system / equipment from concept through fielding and deployment, in-service support, and retirement. Assist in supply support research, APL research, etc. to satisfactorily resolve Warfighter Requests for fleet customers.
- Prepare written correspondence and verbally report recommended improvements to product support and maintenance concepts and / or requirements.
- Analyze, establish and monitor supply support requirements/posture to identify deficiencies and resolve critical problems.
- Coordinate with Logistics Element Managers (LEMs) to ensure ILS products are technically accurate.
- Formulate provisioning plans, schedules and supply support management plans for new programs and equipment.
- Participate in all Integrated Product Team planning (IPT) activities throughout the early phases of product support.
Qualifications Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering Discipline, Business or related field
- 3 - 5 years of ILS analysis experience (Department of Defense project support preferred)
- Candidate must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or be able to pass a background investigation to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
- U.S. Citizenship required
Desired Experience:
- Management of the acquisition of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) products, including coordinating products and taskings, and preparing contracting documents.
- Budget and schedule management, and contract oversight.
- Management and execution of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) / Technical Directives (TDs) and modifications associated with the Navy Configuration Management process.
- Participate in System Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process for all Class I ECPs where assigned.Act as a logistics representative through all design phases including all associated SETRs, Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and Change Implementation Boards (CIBs).
