The role is responsible for ensuring timely action is taken to update changes to distribution network inbound and outbound schedules. To properly reflect the standard working schedules, and quickly adjust schedules by aligning with a variety of stakeholders driven by various business need. To be the single point of contact of schedule ownership, as well as provide insights and improvement recommendations on schedule utilization. The role will also support the Network Logistics Lead with cross functional flow meetings and process improvement opportunities.RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage the Distribution Order Management (DOM) tool to ensure we are enhancing the customer experience with increased COF at the lowest cost to Nestle.Create and foster a standard way of ensuring schedule alignment.Collaborate with other functions, Warehousing, Transportation, Deployment, BSC, Logistics to flex schedule as needed.Ensure schedule updates happen immediately to respond to quickly moving business, and proactively support holiday and downtime schedule closures.Collaborate externally with carriers to ensure scheduling occurs efficiently by reviewing and measuring on a regular basis.Identify constraints in schedules and adjust as needed to ensure flow of inbounds and outbounds can occur seamlessly.Reduce VDE and improve COF by ensuring inbounds are deployed first time right and actively collaborate with the warehouse and transportation to capitalize on any ability to flip from inbound to outbound to best utilize network throughput.Develop metrics and identify drivers for schedule inconsistency and utilization.Collaboration:Partner with Warehousing on true schedule execution based on warehouse automation, labor, balance of inbound and outbounds to effectively drive an executable schedule.Partner with Transportation, internally and externally, to ensure schedule is aligned with transit time from factories, between DC's, and to customers.Partner with Deployment on critical needs, separate express schedules, to optimize flow of STO's.Drive schedule changes to improve cross-function execution.Cross Functional Network Support:Excellent Integrated Fulfillment End to End development opportunity to work with all teams across Fulfillment and support improvements.Participate in Cross functional network meetings as needed including Flow meetings, Weekly Network Reviews, etc. Act as a backup for the Lead as needed.Lead the Factory Flow Calls connecting Factory Supply Chain, Transportation and Deployment to support the effective flow of products from the factory to the DCs.Support diverting of orders to relieve throughput constraints, respond to emergency situations, and improve service execution.Provide necessary information and insight to navigate successful month end closings.Manage the Distribution Order Management (DOM) tool to ensure we are enhancing the customer experience with increased COF at the lowest cost to Nestle.Manage DOM during times of network constraints and Force Majeure activities as needed.REQUIREMENTS:EXPERIENCE:2-3 years experience in the following supply chain functional areas including warehousing, transportation, deployment, supply chain planning, BSC, etc.REQUISITION ID: 325754It is our business imperative to remain a very inclusive workplace.
