This role will support research and development (R&D) efforts for the E-2/C-2 Airborne Command and Control Program Office (PMA 231). Candidate will directly support the Product Support Manager (PSM) in the execution and management of the Integrated Logistic Support Plan (ILSP), and the Product Support Strategy (PSS).Functional Description: Prepare logistics support documentation, such as logistics operational management/user documents, integrated logistics support plans, user logistics support summaries, post-production support plans, and logistics implementation plans. Assists PSM team to focus on identifying, developing, implementing, and measuring quantifiable best value outcome-based product support solutions that optimize Life-Cycle Cost (LCC) and readiness. Apply logistics principles and methods to facilitate the overall lifecycle management of system reliability, maintainability, availability, supportability, and LCC. To provide an integrated acquisition and sustainment framework for achieving Warfighter performance requirements throughout a program life-cycle. Support cost pillar initiatives and business case analysis.Duties:Assist in coordinating and executing program management goals/focus/objectives across the entire logistics team.Develop narrative-based Flag level briefs based on complex data and analytics. Interpret complex information, highlight essential key points, identify key performance indicators to reveal patterns, trends, and findings.Good communicator. Ability to simplify complex technical data while keeping the issues upfront, clear and in the proper context to enable program managers to focus on solutions.Ability to organize and present relevant maintenance/supply data (WUC system, sub-system, component, SCIR, NSN, PN etc.) from OOMA/NALCOMIS that will help identify and inform PMA of fleet maintainability, reliability and supportability issues/concerns.Be or become very proficient with NAVAIRs DECKPLATE (Decision Knowledge Programming for Logistics Analysis and Technical Evaluation) database which will help bring awareness, clarity and understanding to the fleets top readiness issues.Provide program level support for the Reliability Control BoardReview logistic team summaries, reports, products from various logistic element managers (i.e. design interface/maintenance planning, supply support, support equipment, reliability and maintainability, technical data package, technical publications, training) which are used to assess goals, accomplishments, challenges, and issues relating to program schedule and budget.Required Education: May require a master's degree and/or Ph.D.Required Experience: At least 12 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and independently performs a wide variety of complicated tasks. May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top-level contributor/specialist. May lead and direct the work of others. May report to an executive or director.Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
