**Description**

The Warehouse Logistics Specialists will collaborate with the Operations team toprovide leadership and management to all members of the third-party labor staff. This person will also oversee all aspects of the warehouse production function from start to finish and will act as point of contact for members within Project Management, Sales, Logistics, and Design Services.

***Responsibilities:***

* Partner with Logistics Supervisor to address any challenges or changes to normal warehouse process

* Manage recruiting process; arrange and manage onboarding of all third-party temp labor and monitor labor does not exceed project allocated budget

* Develop, mentor, and train assigned temporary personnel

* Review all labor standards and practices and ensure department is in compliance

* Manage overall project timelines

* Communicate on-going project status and progress to Project Manager

* Process, kit, package and ship orders accurately against client PO

* Report, replace and inventory defective items

* Coordinate transportation that optimizes service and cost

* Manage Print shipping labels/documents, schedule pick-ups, perform self-review to ensure each package has proper labeling/documentation

+ Use of JDE Varsity, UPS Worldship, FedEx Ship Manager, and TMS Software * Validate orders for accuracy

* Responsible for complete oversight of warehouse environment including but not exclusive to the following:

* Manage inventory Organize stocks and always maintain inventory

* Maintain and order warehouse and packaging supplies

* Verify incoming and outgoing shipments

* Receive, unload and assigning incoming inventory items appropriately

* Perform physical quality control checks on all products received, check for defects and accuracy

* Alert designated team members of shipments received

* Accurately input PO/item receipts and ship confirm sales orders in JD Edwards

* Coordinate the set-up samples and prototypes for assessment and photos

* Manage facility management on the receiving of building shipments

* Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations

* Collaborate and identify ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures

* Overall Project Timelines met or beaten for 95% of projects per year

* Majority (98% or higher) of client deliveries on time with minimal damage due to shipping

* Achieve or exceed established goals with respect to accuracy of order fulfillment

* Work is produced/maintained with a high degree of accuracy, timeliness, and limited need for repeated supervisor intervention

* Consistent improvement with speed

***Requirements:***

* High school diploma ; Bachelors degree a plus

* Minimum of two years experience working in a warehouse environment

* Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and/or other warehouse equipment

* Adequate knowledge of warehouse data system

* Team player with organizational skills

* Ability to lift or move heavy products up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations

* Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in written form with management, internal and external customers.

* Demonstrate ability to anticipate and solve practical problems or resolve issues.

* High level of maturity and confidence necessary to interact with sophisticated internal and external clients

* Strong leadership and customer service skills with the ability to ensure that a high level of service and quality is maintained

* Product knowledge with clear technical understanding of services to be able to effectively communicate to customer

* Excellent project management, organizational and planning skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks, projects and meet deadlines

* Outstanding attention to detail, flexibility and creativity

* Persistence coupled with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization

* Ability to exercise discretion and good judgment, work with minimal supervision and maintain confidentiality of shared information and/or assignments
