DescriptionThe Warehouse Logistics Lead is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the daily operations of warehouse logistics to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely flow of goods within the facility. This role involves coordinating shipping and receiving activities, inventory management, vendor negotiations, and leading a team to achieve departmental goals. The Warehouse Logistics Lead plays a critical role in maintaining a safe, organized, and productive environment, ensuring quality and compliance with company standards.RequirementsSupervision and LeadershipLead and manage warehouse logistics team members, providing clear direction, training, and support.Assign daily tasks and oversee workload distribution to ensure deadlines and targets are met.Encourage a culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement among the team.Logistics OperationsCoordinate inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.Monitor and optimize inventory accuracy, storage utilization, and product flow within the warehouse.Ensure adherence to shipping and receiving processes, quality control standards, and documentation requirements.Inventory ManagementPerform routine cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation to maintain accurate inventory records.Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate forecasting and timely replenishment.Troubleshoot inventory discrepancies and resolve issues effectively.Safety and CompliancePromote and enforce safety regulations, policies, and procedures to create a secure work environment.Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards.Facilitate training and development in safety practices and emergency response procedures.Process ImprovementIdentify opportunities for efficiency improvements within logistics and inventory workflows.Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve accuracy, and enhance productivity.Implement new systems or technology to streamline processes and optimize warehouse functions.Qualifications:Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate's degree or higher in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in warehouse/logistics operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.Skills:Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics processes, and inventory management.Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills for team coordination.Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.Certifications: Forklift certification and OSHA safety training are a plus.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift and move items up to [weight requirement, e.g., 50 lbs].Standing, walking, and performing manual tasks for extended periods.Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.#J-18808-Ljbffr
