Logistics Support Analyst/Maintenance Planning Analyst

KBR is seeking a Logistics Support Analyst/Maintenance Planning Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will analyze and implement logistics plans that impact the production, distribution, and inventory of finished products, enhancing overall product flow and efficiency. This role involves conducting distribution and network studies, monitoring inventory levels, and developing strategies to optimize delivery times and order fill rates. Strong analytical skills and experience with logistics frameworks are essential for success in this position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Logistics Planning: Analyze and implement logistics strategies that affect the production, distribution, and inventory of finished products to optimize product flow.
* Data Analysis: Conduct distribution and network studies to assess logistics performance. Monitor inventory levels and analyze requirements to develop actionable strategies that meet delivery timelines and improve order fill rates.
* Reporting: Maintain accurate records and prepare comprehensive reports for management, providing insights into logistics activities and performance metrics.
* Coordination: Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external customers to ensure seamless logistics operations and communication.
* Database Management: Perform data entry into a centralized database and execute reporting functions to ensure data integrity and availability for decision-making.
* Technical Knowledge: Apply knowledge of NAVAIR Maintenance Planning and Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA) to enhance logistics operations. Familiarity with Logistic Support Analysis (LSA) products, including LSA-019, LSA-024, and LSA-036 reports, is preferred.
* Standards Compliance: Understand and adhere to GEIA-0007 and MIL STD 1388-2B standards to ensure compliance and best practices in logistics support.
* Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned to support the overall objectives of the logistics team.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Citizenship and Clearance: Must be a US citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain.
Education & Experience:
* BS/BA in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field preferred, and 2 years of related work experience.
* OR AA/AS and 10 years of related experience.
* OR 10 years of Specialized military experience/training
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Experience with logistics database systems and reporting tools is a plus.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.
* Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to research, review, and interpret complex technical information, leading to the development of effective procedural documentation.
This position has three different locations work can be performed from: Orange Park, FL. Patuxtent River, MD. Cherry Point, NC.
Compensation: $74,500-$85,000.The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
