Job Description:
JOB SUMMARYThe Logistics Team Staff is responsible for assisting the game day operation by supplying the game day staff with necessary tools to succeed. The main focus of this role is to ensure all facets of the operation are set and ready for major event (baseball, concerts, etc.).RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist with street closures by helping to move barriers and other heavy objects, both before the game and during in the event of an emergency (rotation basis).
  • Gate set up and break down of guest screening (Evolv & magnetometers), tables, ticket scanners, etc.
  • Water & ice distribution and recollection.
  • Radio and device distribution and recollection.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to arrive 4 hours prior to first pitch and stay an hour post-game.
  • Ability to be independent and responsible without constant supervision.
  • Constant attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work in a high activity and heavily crowded environment.
  • Communicate effectively with guests and other employees.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and pleasant demeanor.
  • Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in all types of weather (cold, heat, rain, etc.).
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of an FBI fingerprint clearance and a criminal background check.
