Under general direction, the purpose of this position is to assist the area by ensuring the proper equipment, tools, vehicles, building equipment and/or materials arrive at the job site or craft shop so that applicable work can start on time. This is a critical job in the Operations and Facilities areas. Responsibilities and Qualifications EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - Responds to internal and external customers in a timely, accurate, courteous and empathetic manner representing OCPS in a positive light. Responsible for area materials inventory. Makes arrangements for emergency materials purchasing. Checks residual stock, bench stock, and other warehouses prior to requisitioning additional materials. Receives materials at the warehouse as it is delivered from vendors. Issues materials to work orders or craft shops. Maintains all appropriate records, data, documentation, and paperwork.
