  • Inspect and identify material and related documentation as prescribed by the purchase order/sales order or contract specifications highlighting any non-conformance or omission.
  • Compares identifying information and counts, weights, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of landing, invoices, orders and other records.
  • Affixes shipping labels on crates to identify shipping information.
  • Packaging to include protecting, stabilizing, and padding all cargo including caring for unique products to ensure safe, unharmed arrival.
  • Collecting all pertinent data from customers pertaining to items shipping/receiving department to be billed, destination, etc.
  • Collaborates and communicates with all necessary parties in the shipment and receipt of products.
  • Ensuring all information on collected ship forms is accurate and documented for submittal to export approval to obtain commercial invoices for all international shipments.
  • Ensuring information on received commercial invoices is accurate and documented to guarantee proper delivery of shipment at destination.
  • Finding serial numbers, part numbers and descriptions for the shipping and receiving related to customer's needs.
  • Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries and sorts and stocks receivables.
  • Maintaining accurate shipping/receiving destination and email records for customers and clients.
  • Working with UPS/FedEx representatives to ensure best possible customer service including on time arrivals at the correct destination with unharmed goods.
  • Track, traces and updates packages after shipments/coordination of delivery with customers and clients.
  • Filing, storing, and organizing of ship forms, commercial invoices, and other shipping documents.
  • Maintaining confidentiality of company specific products.
  • Inspection and organization of received packages.
  • Filing, storing, and organized packing lists and other received information.
  • Maintains a clean, neat and visitor-ready area.
  • Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
  • Distribution and delivery of packages to recipients.
  • Operate forklift as needed.
  • Provides additional backup support as needed.
RequirementsMinimum Education:
  • High School diploma or Equivalent required
  • 1-2 years' experience in shipping and/or receiving material
Minimum Skills and Experience:
  • Ability to obtain Forklift Certification.
  • Strong sense of time organization and urgency.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Skilled in performing detailed work with a high degree of quality and accuracy.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Strong attendance record.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with coworkers, manager, and other departments.
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. PLEX experience a strong plus.
