What you will do Responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of inventory, including ordering, receiving, warehousing, and reconciling. This role requires a detail-oriented and organized individual with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of logistics and inventory management.
How you will do it - Ordering: Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate ordering of filter inventory based on demand forecasts and production schedules.
- Receiving: Oversee the receiving process, ensuring all incoming shipments are inspected, verified, and accurately recorded in the inventory system.
- Warehousing: Manage the storage of filter inventory, ensuring optimal organization, safety, and accessibility. Implement best practices for inventory control and space utilization.
- Reconciliation: Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies. Maintain accurate inventory records and generate reports as needed.
- Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable supply chains and negotiate favorable terms.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and train warehouse staff, promoting a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Compliance: Ensure all logistics operations comply with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Performs other duties as required.
What we look for - Bachelor's degree or equivalent field experience.
- Five or more years of experience in operations and maintenance.
- Able to program and operate Building Automation Systems.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and their operation.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities.
- Able to manage and train entry-level personnel.
- Able to deal with customers and others at all levels.
- Knowledge of JCI procedures and policies.
- Must be a team player, committed to working in a quality environment.
