Opening at our Upstate Farms Dairy Logistics Facility, Syracuse, NY. Responsible for shuttling trailers. Prepare trailers for loading, pre-trip, fuel and document all activity. ** $5,000 SIGN-ON BONUS **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform Motor Vehicle Inspections on truck to conform to DOT regulations and company policy.
- Work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors, maintain neat appearance, and follow established policies and direction of management.
- Maintain vehicle and hours of service logs using an ELD as required by DOT.
- Maintain reliable attendance and consistent work hours.
- Must follow all SOP procedures and complete required documentation/checklists. Participate in continuous improvement efforts to improve products, services, or processes.
- Follow all Safety requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all OSHA, DOT regulations and assist in maintaining SQF guidelines.

Education/Experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- 3 months verifiable experience driving Class A.
- Doubles Endorsement (Preferred).
Other Functions
- Ability to read, write, perform basic mathematical calculations, and accurately record data required.
- Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts, as required.
- Must be able to frequently stand, walk, kneel, reach, climb, pull, and bend.
- Must be able to routinely lift over 60 pounds.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills required.
- Must be organized and detail oriented.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- DOT Class A with Air Brake endorsement required.
