- Resident-focused: Build rapport with residents and help them look and feel great! Be able to report changes in condition based on observations.
What You Will Do
- Attend to all personal care needs including assistance with bathing, dressing, comb hair, oral hygiene, perineal cares.
- Reposition residents as needed for safety and comfort; assist with transfers and ambulation to the bathing room.
- Recognize and report to the Charge Nurse changes in resident's condition (physical, mental, emotional, behavioral).
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation of observations and care, including but not limited to intake/output, weights, activity of daily living, goals and one-to-one personal interactions with resident.
- Launder or assist residents in laundering personal clothing and cleaning of personal care items.
What Your Need
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Attention to detail
- Must have successfully completed the 75-hour Nursing Assistant Training Course and be certified by the Nebraska Health and Human Services System, as well as the 40-hour Medication Aide Course and certified as a Medication Aide.
