The Loss Prevention Associate must work with discretion and professionalism, and maintain confidentiality at all times.JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitors facilities through direct observation and the use of CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
- Assists the LPM with investigations of crimes committed against the company, or while on company property; accidents; and procedural violations.
- Maintains programs related to Security to include:
- Personnel protection.
- Perimeter and facility protection.
- Asset movement.
- Maintains programs related to Safety to include:
- Accident & injury prevention.
- Hazard Communication.
- Fire prevention and evacuation procedures.
- Disaster preparedness.
- Assists the LPM in maintaining and administering mechanical lock systems and electronic security measures such as CCTV, access control, and alarms.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One to three months related experience and/or training in a Criminal Justice Program.
- Ability to read and write
- Computer knowledge
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak.
