Job Summary:Suburban Subaru is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Lot Attendant/Porter to join our team in Vernon, Connecticut. This full-time, hourly position in the Auto industry offers an exceptional opportunity for an individual contributor to play a key role in providing excellent customer service. The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain and organize the dealership's lot and inventory, ensuring a positive experience for our valued customers.Compensation & Benefits:This position offers an hourly rate of $15.69 per hour, paid biweekly. In addition, eligible employees will have access to a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for career advancement.Responsibilities:•Keep the dealership lot clean and organized, including picking up trash, sweeping, and maintaining a neat appearance•Park and retrieve vehicles in designated areas•Monitor and maintain inventory levels•Conduct vehicle inspections for damage and report any findings to management•Assist customers with retrieving and loading their purchases•Ensure all vehicles are properly locked and secured at all times•Follow all safety regulations and dealership policies•Communicate with management and team members to improve efficiency and customer satisfactionRequirements:•High school diploma or equivalent•Prior experience in a similar role preferred•Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record•Must be able to operate both manual and automatic vehicles•Strong customer service and communication skills•Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time•Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills•Strong work ethic and willingness to work in varying weather conditions•Ability to pass a background check and drug testEEOC Statement:Suburban Subaru is an equal-opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
