Job Summary:Jim Barnard Chevrolet is seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Lot Attendant/Porter. In this role, the Lot Attendant/Porter will be responsible for maintaining the dealership lot, assisting with customer vehicles, and providing general support to our service department. This is a part-time hourly position in the auto industry located in Churchville, New York.Compensation & Benefits:The Lot Attendant/Porter position offers a competitive hourly rate of $15 to $16 per hour. In addition, our employees have access to a variety of benefits, such as health insurance, dental and vision coverage, paid time off, and a retirement savings plan.Responsibilities:- Keep the dealership lot clean and organized- Assist with customer vehicle parking and retrieval- Transport customer vehicles to and from the service department- Wash and detail vehicles as needed- Deliver parts and other materials to technicians- Dispose of waste and recycle materials in accordance with company policies- Perform general maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and maintaining signs- Assist with dealership events and promotions- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environmentRequirements:- High school diploma or equivalent-Previous experience in a similar role helpful but not required- Strong attention to detail- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment- Excellent communication and customer service skills- Valid driver's license and a good driving record- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time- Willingness to work weekends and evenings as neededEEOC Statement:Jim Barnard Chevrolet is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing a diverse and inclusive workplace.
