Description of the role:A Lot Attendant at Van Chevrolet Cadillac Subaru in Kansas City, Missouri is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the organization and movement of vehicles on the dealership lot. This role requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:
- Ensure all vehicles are parked in designated areas and properly organized
- Perform vehicle inspections to check for any damages or issues
- Coordinate the movement of vehicles to and from the service department
- Keep track of vehicle inventory and ensure proper documentation is maintained
- Assist customers with locating and retrieving vehicles
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the dealership lot
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a similar role preferred
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to spot any damages or issues
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license

- Maintains new- and used-vehicle inventory appearance and performance by cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles, replenishing all vehicle fluids as needed, and replacing batteries when necessary.
- Places buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles.
- Keeps new- and used-vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards.
- Cleans driveway and sidewalks
- Drives vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
- Makes key tags for vehicles.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
