Lot Attendant - Service Job Details Job Location Gengras Chrysler Dodge Jeep LLC - East Hartford, CT Position Type Full Time **Position Summary:**
The Service Lot Attendant will assist the Service Advisors, Service Manager, and Service Receptionist with vehicle delivery, pick up
**Essential Responsibilities:**
* Assist the Service Advisors (at drive-thru area) with the receipt of customer vehicles, including the placement of protective mats, seat protection, service tags, etc. in vehicles and parking them in designated areas
* Deliver customer vehicles (from parking area to reception area) as needed by Service Advisors, Service Assistant or Service Manager
* Careful washing and vacuuming of customer vehicles and returning seats to their normal position; being careful of customer personal belonging
* Cleaning of the Service Department, including sweeping floors and trash removal of the drive-thru reception area, break room, and shop
* Empty, remove, and dispose of waste in the proper manner (as instructed by the Service Manager)
* Assist with loaner car preparation and customer check-in/check-out. Let Service Advisors know if fuel or vehicle cleaning is needed
* Deliver and pick-up customer and company owned vehicles at vendor locations, as directed by the Service Manager
* More vehicles as needed
* Must drive slowly and safely on and off the premises
**Minimum Experience, Skills & Knowledge:**
* One year experience in an automotive environment is preferred
**Minimum Education:**
* Minimum of High School degree or equivalent
**Physical and Cognitive Requirements:**
* Able to lift up to 75 lbs
* Able to tolerate moderate exposure to noise, fumes (e.g., exhaust fumes), dust, extreme heat and/or cold, and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials
**License and/or Certification Requirements:**
* Valid Driver's License
* Clean Driving Record
