As a Low Voltage Electrical Field Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our high-profile customers by installing, testing, and servicing, a variety of security systems including but not limited to video surveillance, intelligent video verification, security intrusion alarms, access control with integrated Photo ID, biometrics, UL listed engineered fire alarm systems, enterprise-wide security solutions, central station monitoring, remote access security management and video intercom systems. Our safe work environment includes on-the-job training.Responsibilities:
- Service, install and test residential and commercial security alarm systems
- Provide technical support to customers including, but not limited to, field programming of alarm panels, remote programming of alarm panels, and troubleshooting of signal issues related to formats and receivers
- Research and test new alarm products and related equipment
- Installation and programming of commercial and residential Fire Systems
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Comfortable working with technology and self-motivated to learn
- Must maintain a clean, professional image with external and internal customers
- Ability to travel as required (no overnight travel)
- Ability to work overtime as required and participate in on-call schedule after six-months
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Must possess and maintain a clear driver's license and safe driving record
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two (2) year Associates Degree
- Previous alarm installation and service experience (preferred but not required)
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 (preferred but not required)
