Company Description

GFC Construction, INC. has been providing civil construction services in Alabama for a little over the past 35 years. GFC has successfully completed a vast number of projects that have included Clearing and Grubbing, Mass Earthwork and Grading, Storm Sewer/Sanitary Sewer/ Water Line Pipe Laying, Erosion Control, and Site Concrete. During these projects, GFC prepared the sites for infrastructure and preparation improvements in the Commercial, Industrial, Municipal, and Private Clients.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Lowboy driver and skilled operator at GFC Construction, Inc. in Duncanville, AL. The role involves daily tasks related to operating and driving Lowboy trucks and utilizing specialized skills in construction operations.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with clean driving record
• Experience in operating and maneuvering Lowboy trucks and heavy equipment
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in construction settings
• Fuel equipment and truck
• Communicating and coordinating with dispatchers
• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations
• Ability to operate equipment to successfully load and unload in a safe manner
• CDL A (Required)

Benefits:

• Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
• Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week (anything over 40 will be overtime pay)
