THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAYThe Lowboy Driver/Operator's responsibilities include safely and efficiently loading and unloading material and equipment, and adhering to all company policies, DOT, and MSHA regulationsAdded job taskso Ability to self-permit or willingness to learno Comply with Federal/State DOT regulationso Load securement training•Load and unload heavy equipment•Perform daily safety and maintenance checks in accordance with DOT and Company standards•Clean and maintain truck's equipment and supplies•Practice workplace safetyKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES•Must have a Class A CDL.•At least 3 years of experience handling heavy haul up to 80 tons gross weight•Ability to drive in a safe and responsible manner - needs a good driving record•Adept at learning the basic operation of a wide variety of equipment in order to lad and transport them safely•Troubleshooting and problem-solving ability•Ability to communicate effectively in English.•Load and unload heavy equipment•Ability to read and write to record and maintain daily records.•Time management skills•Must have a valid driver's license with less than 3 moving violations in 3 years.•Must be able to pass drug/alcohol screenings.•Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs.Personal AttributesMust demonstrate the following personal attributes:
