Responsibilities for the NOC LPN:Assist the RN Supervisor with the overall operational function of the facility during the NOC hours
Act as a resource for nursing assistants and support staff
Make routine resident visits to assess physical and emotional status and implement any required nursing interventions
Assist patients to achieve and maintain the highest level of self-care and independence
Maintain positive and effective communication and relationships with the patients and their families
Communicate all pertinent information concerning resident care to RN Supervisor
Able to problem-solve, think critically, and take immediate corrective action if patient well-being or care is in jeopardy
Assist with orders as necessary
Assist in the verbal and written communications of patient information to appropriate personnel, physicians, and point of contact
Assess patient symptoms and changes in conditions, and maintain accurate reports and documentation regarding resident status
Other duties as assigned
Must hold a current license and be in good standing as a Licensed Nurse in the State of Minnesota
Must be CPR certified and have completed first aid training
Must have previous experience in nursing or other healthcare/medical fields
Experience with memory loss preferred, but not required
Compassionate and caring demeanor
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Previous management or leadership experience preferred, but not required
