Our LPNs play a vital role in delivering quality care within the scope of practice defined by the local state nurse practice act for Licensed Practical Nurses. They are responsible for assigned tasks, activities, and functions, and may also assign duties to others as permitted by their state of practice act. Ensuring that delegated tasks can be safely performed by the person receiving the assignment, based on their educational preparation, is a key part of the role. This includes monitoring tasks, activities, and functions assigned to others to ensure proper understanding and completion.Job Duties:Contribute to assessing the health status of patients.Participate in developing and modifying a patient's plan of care.Perform delegated tasks, activities, and functions consistent with prior educational preparation and within the scope of practice.Provide direct basic care to multiple clients within the healthcare program structure at the facility.Deliver safe and effective nursing care and take responsibility for the care provided.Implement patient education based on established teaching plans.Use a problem-solving approach as the basis for decision-making.Maintain a professional attitude and demeanor at all times, adhering to state policies and procedures for both the facility and Trinity Professional Staffing.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of employment.Possess an active BLS certification with skills demonstration.Maintain knowledge of specific state laws and regulations governing practice.Satisfactorily complete initial and annual clinical competencies to demonstrate aptitude as assigned by role.Physical Requirements:Contractors must be able to perform the following:Be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.Occasionally kneel, stoop, crouch, and/or crawl.Frequent walking throughout the site, including walking up and down flights of stairs.Have and maintain sufficient strength, agility, and endurance to perform during stressful (physical, mental, and emotional) situations encountered on the job.Occasionally run when responding to emergencies and be able to perform BLS.Required Credentials:Current state-issued LPN license or Compact License.COVID Vaccination and Testing.Criminal Background Check.CPR/BLS/ACLS/PALS.10-Panel Drug Screen.Hepatitis-B Vaccination or Declination.Flu Vaccination or Declination.Annual HIPAA Training.Physical Test/Exam.TB Skin Test.2 Verified References.ResumeIf you are an LPN seeking an opportunity to make a difference while working in a challenging and rewarding environment, please contact us at 215-###-#### to discuss this exciting opportunity further.
