Eklego is seeking dedicated and compassionate LPN to join a team of nursing professionals working in a direct-hire position at Good Shepherd Home in Fostoria, OH. Full-time or part-time opportunities available for the overnight shift.LPN: Hours are 6pm-6am or 10p-6amEklego partners with choice Senior Care organizations committed to hiring qualified and compassionate staff, and Eklego partners with YOU, as a healthcare professional, to find a workplace that best fits your priorities!What will I do as an LPN?As an LPN you will support residents by providing hands-on nursing care, administering medications and performing nursing treatments. LPNs may also oversee the work of CNAs on their unit.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing wound care, and assisting with procedures.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare topics, including disease management and prevention
- Assist with the coordination of patient appointments and referrals
- Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR) systems, such as Cerner
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
Requires:
- Current LPN license in the state of Ohio
- Good interpersonal skills that demonstrate an ability to work well with individuals and as a team member
