Licensed Practical NurseJob Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate PRN Nurse to join our team at The Green House Cottages of Wentworth Place. As a PRN Nurse, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents on an as-needed basis. You will collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the physical and emotional well-being of our residents while adhering to all nursing standards and regulations. Responsibilities: -Perform comprehensive nursing assessments of residents upon admission and as needed - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with facility policies - Monitor residents' conditions and promptly report any changes or concerns to the appropriate supervisors - Assist with activities of daily living - Provide emotional support and companionship to residents and their families - Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of nursing assessments, care plans, and interventions - Collaborate with other members of the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to coordinate care and ensure continuity of services - Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean environment for residents and staff - Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and quality improvement initiatives as required Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position. Qualifications: - Valid RN or LPN license in the state of Arkansas or compact State - Previous experience in long-term care or a similar healthcare setting preferred - Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills - Strong communication and interpersonal abilities - Ability to work effectively in a team environment - Basic computer skills for documentation purposes - CPR certification preferred Physical Requirements: - Ability to lift and move residents with assistance - Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods - Good visual and auditory acuity Schedule: This is a PRN (as needed) position. Shifts may vary based on facility needs, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
