Hudson Park Rehabilitation and Nursing has openings for some great, energetic and passionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team. Hudson Park is a 200-bed skilled nursing facility on Northern Blvd in Albany.
The Licensed Practical Nurse- LPN provides nursing care to residents as prescribed by the physician and in accordance with standards of nursing practice and regulations and as directed by the Director of Nursing.
Responsibilities:
- Collecting information from the residents to be admitted; medical records, and insurance details.
- Recording health details of residents; including vitals & temperature.
- Administering medications and injections to residents as needed.
- Treating and dressing wounds and bedsores as needed.
- May be required to supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA's).
- Helps residents get dressed and take care of personal hygiene.
- Monitors residents' food and liquid intake and output.
Requirements for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
- Valid LPN License
- Must have up-to-date MMR vaccination & physical
- Must be in good standing with the State Registry
