Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)$3,000 Sign-On BonusFull-time/Part-time: 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm with alternating weekendsUnited Hebrew Geriatric Center is seeking qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Professionals to join our team, Full-Time, on the day or evening shift in our skilled nursing home. You will meet interesting residents with stories to share and amazing co-workers who become friends.As an LPN, some of the duties you will be responsible for include:Providing basic medical attention to patients and assessing their wellbeing as part of a larger medical team. Checking vital signs and recording a patient's medical history in a confidential mannerAssist nursing and medical staff with tasks, such as administering medicationExplaining treatments and procedures to patients and familiesChanging dressings and bandages, ensuring patients are healing properlyMaintaining the cleanliness and comfort of each patient, including bathing, feeding, and dressingSome of the key requirements include:Must be licensed as an LPN in New York StateWill be friendly and sociable and be able to provide comfort to patients with good interpersonal skills - both verbal and in writingMust be detail-oriented, able to notice any changes in a patient's condition and report changes to our care team2+ years of hands on experience providing care through clinical rotation, on the job training through a nursing program or experience as a private care giver preferredTeam member - Will follow direction, guidance and feedback from Supervisors
