Overview:

Quincy Medical Group (QMG) is offering an exciting part-time opportunity for a compassionate and dedicated LPN or Medical Assistant to join our Pediatrics team. As part of a multi-specialty group practice with more than 155 physicians and providers, QMG has proudly served West Central Illinois, Southeast Iowa, and Northeast Missouri for over 85 years, leading the way in delivering exceptional healthcare.

Responsibilities:

In this role, the LPN or Medical Assistant will work directly with a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, assisting in the care of children from infancy through adolescence. Responsibilities include rooming patients, taking vital signs, administering vaccinations, preparing patients for exams, and assisting the Nurse Practitioner with routine pediatric procedures. Additionally, you will provide patient education to parents and caregivers, document care in the electronic health record (EHR), and ensure a comforting environment for young patients and their families.

This part-time, hourly, non-exempt position follows a Monday, Wednesday, and Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., located in Quincy, IL.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will be a licensed LPN or certified Medical Assistant, with experience in a pediatric or family medicine setting preferred. A love for working with children, excellent communication skills, and a strong sense of teamwork are essential for success in this role. Experience with administering vaccines and using EHRs is a plus.
