Teaching may be on any campus, or by distance learning, and may be days, nights, weekends or a combination.TEACHING PERFORMANCE - The ability to present course materials through appropriate instructional strategies to facilitate the learning process. INSTRUCTIONAL DEVELOPMENT - The development, revision, and maintenance of courses and curriculum through course objectives, outlines, and appropriate materials. INSTRUCTIONAL MANAGEMENT - The effective use of required office hours, exhibition of effective classroom management and control, and timely and accurately submitted reports. STUDENT ADVISEMENT - The participation of the faculty member, when applicable, in assisting students in personal and professional development. COLLEGE AND/OR COMMUNITY SERVICES - The participation in College activities and the promotion of the College through public service. PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT - The participation of the faculty member in activities designed to develop professional skills so as to maintain and improve proficiency in his/her present position. Minimum and Additional Requirements Bachelor's degree in Nursing.A current unencumbered South Carolina State Registered Nursing License.Two years recent clinical experience in the primary area of responsibility (nursing care or nursing education) that includes instruction, conducting/managing learning experiences, evaluating student achievement, providing input to curriculum development, policy/procedure development, and program evaluation. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in nursing, and experience in simulation.
