We have an opportunity available for the following: LPN, Per DiemOur Nurse's Role Includes:Assisting in the provision of the individualized, goal oriented, nursing care, utilizing the nursing process, in collaboration with the Director of Nursing and other members of the patient care team.Establishing and maintaining a therapeutic relationship with each residentAssist in determining current and potential needs and/or problems of Sister residents to create a care plan for each Sister based on individual needs.Implement nursing actions according to the established care planMaintain professional discretion and strict confidentiality in all aspects of the position especially in regards to our Sister residents.Assist in maintaining a clean, orderly and safe environment for our residents and staffMaintain professional development through seminars, workshops and professional affiliationsAbility to react to change productively and handle other tasks as assignedParticipate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and community goalsShow leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skillsMaintain infection control standardsAssist in evaluating some team membersPhysical/Environmental RequirementsMust be able to physically and efficiently perform the duties of the position which involves the following: Standing and walking 2/3 of the shift, sitting 1/3 of the shift; must have use of hands and fingers to handle and feel; must be able to bend, stoop and reach; lifting may involve up to 300 lbs 1/3 to 2/3 of the day with the use of lifting equipment when needed.Moderate physical activity performing strenuous daily activities of a primarily productive/technical natureWork environment- well lighted, heated/air conditioned indoor spaceExcellent Staff to Resident ratioMust have an unencumbered, valid NYS Nursing License as an LPNRate of Pay- $25-$27.95EOCCome Join Our Team!
