LPNnursing practice follows the current Nursing Practice Act and Guidelines from the Department of Health,and Board of Nursing for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.Essential DutiesThe Medical Surgical/Telemetry Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for gathering data forassessment of patients, assisting with the planning for patient care, interventions assigned, andproviding input for the evaluation process. The LPN is an essential part of the team providing careto a variety of patients in various settings. Collaborates to promote high quality, cost efficienthealth care.EducationPOSITION QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum: Graduate of an accredited school of Licensed Practical NursingRequired Certification/Licensure/RegistrationCurrent Massachusetts LPN license; American Heart Association BLS certification.
