Job DescriptionFind your purpose working as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant in our Pulmonology Clinic. In this role, your primary focus will be on the care and treatment of patients with lung disease or respiratory conditions such as asthma, pneumonia, bronchitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, emphysema, tuberculosis, and lung cancer in the clinic setting and assist with coordination of care under the direction of the Registered Nurse and provider. This position functions as a vital team member in providing patient/family centered care and supports Our Service Promise principles when interacting with patients, their families and with coworkers.Schedule
  • Full-time | 64 hours every two weeks
  • Monday - Friday | Various 8-hour shifts between 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
Pay and Benefits
  • LPN starting pay begins at $21.85 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience
    • Pay range: $21.85 - $32.76 per hour
  • CMA starting pay begins at $20.41 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience
    • Pay range: $20.20 - $30.30 per hour
  • $2,500 hiring bonus for LPNs and $2,000 hiring bonus for CMAs plus $5,000 relocation assistance for eligible candidates

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or Graduate of an American Association of Medical Assistants
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in the State of Minnesota
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy
  • Ability to understand patients' medical records, physician orders and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and staff
To be eligible for the hiring bonus and relocation assistance, you must be an external candidate who has not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire and be hired into an eligible full-time or part-time benefited position. Relocation assistance also requires that you currently live more than 50 miles from the location you're hired at and move within 30 miles of it within 120 days of employment.
