Position SummaryThe Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN I) provides direct and indirect patient care using selected nursing skills under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) or physician. This role focuses on recognizing and addressing basic to intermediate care needs while identifying and reporting urgent or emergent situations requiring advanced medical attention.Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care as guided by established protocols and under the direction of RNs or physicians.
- Recognize and report urgent/emergent situations to appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Follow detailed instructions to ensure patient safety and care effectiveness.
- Support care activities in both clinical and long-term care settings.
QualificationsEducation & Experience
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing (Required).
Licensure
- Must hold a current NV Nursing Pool License to be eligible for submission.
