Key Responsibilities:
- Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and basic automotive maintenance with precision and efficiency, following dealership and factory standards.
- Diagnose vehicle issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Inspect vehicles for additional service needs and install optional equipment as specified by the customer or dealer.
- Inspect and test drive newly delivered vehicles for damage and missing components.
- Report machinery defects or malfunctions to the supervisor and maintain dealership tools and manuals.
- Communicate effectively with the Parts Department and service advisors to ensure timely and accurate service.
- Ensure vehicles are kept clean and in optimal condition, reporting any discrepancies immediately.
- Uphold high safety and ethical standards, maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support dealership operations and objectives.
QualificationsWhat We Need:
- High school diploma or GED required; automotive technical training or certification preferred.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
- Automotive repair and maintenance experience preferred.
- Strong willingness to excel and learn is essential.
- ASE certification preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs regularly and work in various physical conditions.
- Capability to inspect and perform repairs, including bending, stretching, kneeling, and squatting.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must pass a background check and hair follicle drug screen.
