About You We are looking for a Lube Technician to join our team! The right candidate will have excellent communication skills, time-management skills, and a desire to provide superb customer service.Primary Accountabilities The day-to-day duties of this role include:
- Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency, accuracy, and in accordance with dealership standards
- Perform routine maintenance, including:
- Changing oil and filters
- Checking transmission and other fluid levels
- Inspecting and replacing bulbs, belts, and hoses
- Check air levels and gauges
- Assessing, adjusting, and cleaning brakes
- Communicates with Parts Department to obtain needed parts
- Inform service advisor of any additional safety concerns regarding customer vehicles
- Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner
- Keeps shop area neat and clean
Lube Technician Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, ASE certification preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Lube Technician
- Dexterity, excellent hand-eye coordination
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Basic computer competencies
- Excellent customer service skills, positive, friendly attitude, with an eagerness to improve
- Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
- Ability to collaborate with other team members effectively
- Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
