Essential Functions:
  • Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT's Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission
  • Performs lubrication and periodic maintenance service work on heavy equipment located in the field in order to respond to customer needs
  • Grease and lubricate vehicles or specified units, such as springs, universal joints, or steering knuckles, using grease guns or spray lubricants
  • Maintains appearance and operation of lubrication truck to ensure productivity and position representation to Texas First Rentals/HOLT customers
  • Complete all necessary forms and documentation associated with Customer Service Agreements (CSA) in an accurate and timely manner to ensure internal and external needs are met
  • Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
  • Requires regular and punctual employee attendance
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of construction equipment, aerial, and lifting equipment
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures and practices
  • Knowledge of operating characteristics and limitations of the equipment being operated
  • Knowledge of safe work procedures and practices
  • Knowledge of tools, including their designs, uses, and maintenance
  • Demonstrates proficiency with current computer software, related hardware, and basic knowledge of machine electronic systems
  • Exceptional skills in customer service
  • Operation and control skills of equipment or systems
  • Ability to interact with tact and courtesy and maintain a professional demeanor
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, and customers
  • Ability to read and understand equipment service manuals and lubrication charts
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Ability to perform all the physical requirements of the position
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One or more years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • None
Travel:
  • Up to 20% travel
Additional Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's license required
  • Ability to obtain a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and must have an acceptable driving record
Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to move objects, and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue
  • Frequently moves materials or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina
  • Ascend/descend with gradual or continuous progress by oneself, using both hands and feet and climb up and down ladders
  • Be able to safely maneuver and work underneath equipment
  • Routinely reacts to visual, auditory, and other signals, including alarms and instructions, and is required to visually inspect work
Work Environment:
  • Requires wearing common protective or safety equipment
  • Regularly works outdoors around moving mechanical parts and noise level may be loud at times
  • May be exposed to weather extremes when working outside in conditions that include inclement weather, heat, cold, and humidity
  • Exposure to small quantities of chemicals, dust, steam, high-pressure water, and high speed rotating equipment
  • Required to perform work in cramped spaces and/or high places
