Tom Wood Subaru in Indianapolis, IN is searching for a dedicated and skilled Lube Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, efficient individual with basic automotive knowledge, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering excellent service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
* Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and other routine maintenance services quickly and efficiently
* Conduct vehicle inspections to identify necessary repairs or maintenance
* Ensure proper documentation of all services performed
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment
* Follow all safety protocols and procedures
* Provide excellent customer service by communicating vehicle issues and repair recommendations clearly
* Stay updated on automotive technology and repair techniques
* Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow
* Perform minor repairs, such as replacing air filters, wiper blades, and light bulbs
* Adhere to company policies and standards for service quality and customer satisfaction
* Participate in ongoing training and development programs
* Other responsibilities as needed
Qualifications:
* Team oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
* Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.
* Required- Hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
