Job Type Part-timeDescriptionDepartment: Silver Rapids WaterparkJob Title: Lunch Bucket cook/cashierWork Days/Hours: Varied, Part-timeClassification: Non-exempt, Hourly Job Description: The overriding and most important function of each employee is to either directly (by interaction) or indirectly (by providing the key support role to a guest experience) strive to provide the finest in friendly service and quality product.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Preparing and serving not only food but alcoholic beverages.
  • Upholding local, state and federal alcohol laws to include checking identification.** Specific Age Requirement
  • Upholding local, state and federal laws pertaining to food safety.
  • Be aware of and enforcing alcohol cut-off procedures.** Specific Age Requirements
  • Possess knowledge of working a register and handling money.
  • Proper stocking and rotation of food.
  • Knowledge of food menu to assist guest with questions.
  • Performing daily opening and closing duties as assigned.
  • Assists guests in a polite and expedient manner.
  • Performs daily routine chores to ensure neat and orderly appearance.
  • Handles and communicates with guests on a one-on-one basis in a professional, courteous manner.
  • Maintains a business-like atmosphere in the Lunchbucket at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and neat appearance and a professional conduct at all times.
  • Basic knowledge of all departments of the resort.
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager.
RequirementsPre-Employment Requirements: Reference check, criminal background check, drug test.Education and/or Experience:
  • TIPS, TAMS or ServeSafe certification.
  • Must be at least 16 years of age. ** For serving alcohol, must be at least 19 years of age
Performance Skills:
  • Demonstrate the ability to provide expert care, sensitive consideration and efficient service to guest
  • Good communication skills
  • Be able to work as a team player
  • Must be self motivated.
  • Must be able to work in a hot environment, while constantly on feet (standing and walking).
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:
  • TIPS, TAMS or ServeSafe certification.
Salary Description $10.00 / hr
