Job Description:
The successful candidate will be available to serve as a cafe monitor, 3 hours per day, providing student supervision in elementary cafeterias. This is an hourly position with no additional benefits. This position reports to the Principal.Responsibilities: Help setup the serving area to begin meal service. Help students through the meal line (as needed), assisting with milk, condiments, and pin numbers. Supervise children while they eat and respond to needs/requests from students (as needed). Monitor the Cafe to maintain a healthy noise level, providing a suitable lunch-time environment. Clean Cafe tables during and following lunch shifts. Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications include: High School Graduate, able to read and follow directions. Must be in general good health, able to stand for long periods of time (3 hours), and be able to lift 10lbs. frequently and 30lbs. occasionally. Note: This position only works when school is in session (students present), 3 hours daily with NO benefits.
