As a Valet Parking Attendant, you'll enjoy a competitive wage ranging from $17 to $25+ per hour (rate boosted by tips and bonuses).Position Overview:As a Valet Attendant at our prestigious 5-star luxury hotel, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm welcome and ensuring a seamless arrival and departure experience. Your role is crucial in setting the tone for the exceptional service our guests expect.Key Responsibilities:1. Guest Arrival and Departure:
  • While providing outstanding 5-star service, greet guests with warmth and professionalism upon arrival.
  • Assist with the check-in and check-out process, providing information about the hotel's amenities.
2. Luggage Assistance:
  • Safely handle guests' luggage, transporting it to and from rooms promptly.
  • Offer assistance with carrying luggage and provide information about room features.
3. Valet Parking:
  • Collaborate with the valet parking team to ensure a smooth and efficient parking and retrieval process for guests' vehicles.
  • Safely drive and park vehicles, adhering to company and safety standards.
4. Guest Services:
  • Provide information about the hotel's facilities, services, and local attractions.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally.
5. Communication:
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with the front desk, concierge, and other departments to ensure coordinated guest services.
  • Relay important information about guest preferences and special requests.
6. Safety and Security:
  • Monitor the entrance area for any suspicious activity and report concerns promptly.
  • Adhere to safety and security procedures to ensure the well-being of guests and their belongings.
QualificationsPosition Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Valet Attendant or in a similar guest service role, preferably in a luxury or high-end setting.
  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) check.
  • Capability to run, retrieve vehicles, and lift luggage up to 50 pounds.
  • Preferred, but not required: ability to drive a standard (stick-shift) vehicle.
  • Ability to use personal cell phone for work purposes.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
  • Physical ability to lift and transport luggage, stand for extended periods, and work outdoors.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
