  • Provide research and technical support to projects as assigned. Includes background research for project development and implementation as well as on-going support for project evaluation and documentation.
  • Performs data collection and management as needed, assists in database design and data collection form design as needed. Performs study coordinator duties as needed.
  • Demonstrated research skills using both quantitative and qualitative methods.
Position:
  • Role: Research Assistant
  • Job Location: 2545 Schoenersville Rd, Bethlehem, PA 18017
  • Facility: Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest
  • Shift: (Monday-Friday; 8AM -4:30PM)
  • Job Duration: 6 months (With potential to convert into FTE or high possibility of extension)
  • Pay Range: $12/hr to $17/hr
Required Qualifications:
  • 1 year of experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, public health or healthcare-related field.
  • Experience with word processing software and a familiarity with database design and management.
  • Experience in conducting literature searches and reviews.
Special Skills:
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as superb organizational skills to organize and manage a variety of tasks and projects and to work under pressure of timelines and multiple demands.
  • Must possess good communication skills and relate effectively with physicians, clinical specialists, and medical records personnel.
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of the scientific research process. Must demonstrate the ability to work independently.
Education:Bachelor's degree in Biology, public health or healthcare-related field.Benefits:
