LPN, RN, BSNSUMMARY: Occupy Medical has begun daily operations at the County's River Avenue, Covid-19 Recovery Center. Occupy Medical is hiring nursing staff for all shifts, full or part time, and will do our best to work around your schedule. Please be intentional in your interest, this site is confirmed COVID-19+, and the position provides direct patient care.Our patients are medically stable, do not require hospitalization and are able to complete their ADLs with minimal assistance, if at all. The River Avenue Alternative Care Site (RAACS) is intended to shelter anyone in the community who cannot safely self-isolate. This IS NOT an ICU step down. Our guest required less care than a skilled nursing facility.This position provides direct client care for a, medically monitored, 24 hour, 7 day a week, 44 to100 bed Covid-19 Alternative Care Site. The position has the support of the Medical Director, Nursing Manager, Project Director (PD) and Assistant PD. POSITIONS AVAILABLE: Day (3-4), Noc (5-6); ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide direct care and delegate care of patients as indicated by client needsAdminister medications and treatments as directed by Provider(s) or the standing ordersObserve and record pertinent information with regard to the care and condition of patientsMake referrals to hospitals and other agenciesAssist the Medical Director and/or Provider group as directed/requestedGive and receive an accurate and timely report at shift changes, maintain/update provider rounds listMaintain knowledge of current protocols and practicesRequest assistance from other RNs/LPNs on duty as appropriateHOW TO APPLY:Email: line: Nursing for OMAttach: Current CV or Resume, including license(s) details, forgo cover letterInclude: In body of email please write 3 to 4 sentences (maximum) describe your Harm Reduction approach in regards to daily patient interactions. Do not add cover letter text, this is its replacement.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Completion of an accredited one or two-year course of training for nursesCurrent Oregon LPN, RN, or BSN licenseCurrent CPR certification or must obtain within one month if not currentMust have the physical ability to bend, stoop, twist, kneel, reach, squat, pull and lift heavy clients or objectsMust be able to document nursing interventions and responses to care in an accurate, legible, and intelligible mannerMust possess excellent communication skills and be able to work as part of a teamMust adhere to the agency's non-discrimination policiesAbility to effectively interact with co-workers and clients with diverse ethnic backgrounds, treating each individual with respect and dignityPerform other duties as assignedPOSITION TYPE:These positions are non-exempt and of indeterminate duration.
