The LPN relays information to employees and client key stakeholders regarding workplace safety and injury prevention as well as assuring compliance with health-related OSHA mandates.Position Responsibilities:ClinicalGiving medication as prescribed by a physicianTaking vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and weightBasic wound care including cleaning and bandaging injured areasGiving injections of medicationImmunizationsTaking medical historiesEntering information into computer systemsManaging IVsMonitoring fluid/food intake and outputMoving patients safelyAssessing patients' reactions to medicationsAdministrativeScheduling appointmentsKeeping medical records currentWriting prescriptions at a physician's requestProviding as needed guidance to onsite personnel at local clinics/client locationsAssisting with day-to-day issues and escalating accordingly to the Director of Operations and HRManaging all aspects of the Occupational Health Services ProgramTraining and educating employees in health-related mattersPreparing and supervising the clinic/patient interaction of the Overseeing Physician as necessaryMaintaining charts and employee recordsCase management of workman's compensation claimsMaintaining current case log for workplace injuries, outlining treatment plan for weekly case reviewAssuring compliance with the OSHA and DOT programs such as hearing conservation, blood-borne pathogen training, random drug screening, and follow-up programsMaintaining and updating the OSHA log monthlyPosition Requirements:~ Must have a valid state LPN license~3+ years of nursing experience (Required)~2+ years of occupational health experience (Preferred)~ Ability to communicate with all levels across the organization effectively~ Strong administrative and management skills~ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision~ Ability to maintain high level of professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality~ Experienced in developing health/wellness programs and performing ergonomic assessment~ Strong knowledge of workers' compensation case management and regulations~ Working knowledge of HIPAA, ADA, FMLA, and OSHA regulations~ Familiarity with manufacturing and production facility practices~ Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word~ Position may require proof of COVID-19 vaccinationAthletico provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws. Additional pay such as incentive, GAP, overtime, and stipends are subject to the rules of each program and may not be available in all locations. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.Minimum Salary/Wage: USD $30.00/Hr.
