Korn Ferry Military Division has partnered with our client on their search for an M&R Specialist in their Baltimore MD facility.
At least 5 years of management experience along with technical understanding (vehicle maintenance) is highly preferred and will give you an advantage over other candidates.

(MilTech leader / heavy-wheeled vehicle mechanic ideal.)
Compensation: $66,000-77,000/year ($60-70K base + 10% annual bonus potential)
What You Will Do:
- Inspect and approve work orders at specified facilities; perform post audits, monitor, and control all aspects of equipment repair within specified repair shops and facilities.
- Review work order input in the M&R system daily, approve or reject said work orders daily; discuss and resolve work order input discrepancy with M&R vendors.
- Monitor and control M&R costs; approve repair estimates and monitor repair limit for compliance.
- Communicate regularly with Logistics department with regards to equipment requirements.
- Conduct daily visits to specified terminals and depots to ensure that all M&R issues are addressed, and all company policies are enforced. Provide detailed written reports of any problems to the local manager.
- Generate third party billing/damage recovery packages at all locations.
- Ensure inspection/repair standards are communicated to vendors and adhered to on all equipment repairs.
- Assist locations in continuously investigating ways and means to reduce overall M&R costs while ensuring service levels are not compromised.
- Monitor and control inventory levels at all facilities.
Education and Work Experience:
- at least 4 years US Military leadership (heavy-wheeled vehicle mechanic ideal.)
- 5+ years experience in chassis maintenance and trailer repair required.
- Client-facing role – must be able to interface credibly with vendors and company/facility personnel.
