Job Type Full-time Description This position will be a member of a team that builds all facets of the Polychem OMS Systems specialized equipment. Requirements Duties and Responsibilities
- Mechanical assembly while adhering to all safety policies and procedures
- Packing and loading of machines for transport
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and instructions
- Light fabrication and machining
- Accept constructive criticism and use it to improve performance
- Basic wiring ability
- some computer skills
- Be a team player and work well with others
- Able to work accurately and efficiently to complete job
- Have a customer focused mentality
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum three years' experience doing assembly work; machine customization a plus
- Mechanically inclined
- Ability to read and follow drawings and bills of material accurately
- Common knowledge of basic and intermediate hand tools
- Self-motivated and focused on the job at hand
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to change projects midway, flexible
- Ability to follow detailed directions and complete tasks
- Ability and knowledge of using paint sprayers
Other Requirements
- Excellent Attendance record: willingness to work overtime
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs.; stand for long periods of time; be mobile to perform job duties
- Forklift operation; provide own hand tools; electrical experience a plus
- Able to work overtime with little forewarning to complete jobs
- Experience with painting industrial equipment
- Positive attitude and a track record of good performance
