To achieve this aim, we are continually making innovations to improve products and processes.Job DescriptionThis role will install and test electrical components for B+S packaging machines (filling, closing) and control cabinets. Primarily in-house with occasional travel.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Perform electrical wiring and installation on pharmaceutical packaging machines and control cabinetsRun and document the hardware testProcessing of the electrical safety test according to UL regulationsCreating electrical documentationCompetencies:Demonstrates persistence, good foresight, and strong analytical thinking skills that allow troubleshooting, overcoming obstacles, and implementing solutions.Ability to work in a team environment.Maintain a neat and orderly work environment.Capacity to work simultaneously on various projectsFLSA Status: Non-exempt position - Non-exempt employees will receive overtime pay at 1.5 times the calculated hourly rate for time worked more than 40 hours per week.QualificationsAbility to interpret drawings, diagrams, and machine specifications.Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes is preferred.Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.Good understanding of cGMP requirements, change control, and gown qualifications.Good health and physical ability are necessary to enter aseptic clean rooms.Travel to North American customer sites, complete background checks, drug, alcohol, and safety testing per individual client requirementsMust possess and maintain a current, valid Driver's LicenseStrong attention to detailEducation and/or Experience:Completed training or an apprenticeship as a mechatronics or electro mechanical technician, electronics technician for automation technology, control cabinet builder, electrical installer or comparable knowledge and skills or Associate's degree in technology field, e.g., electrical, electronics, etc.3+ years of relevant experience in the field of control cabinet construction and plant installation desirableAdditional InformationBenefits: We offer medical and dental plans (the company pays 83% of the premium for employees and eligible dependents); company-sponsored health reimbursement accounts (HRA); Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) for medical and/or dependent care, company-paid short-term and long-term disability plans, company-paid life insurance and AD&D plan; voluntary vision plan; voluntary pet insurance; voluntary identity theft protection plans; voluntary life, and dependent life plans at discounted group rates; a 401k retirement plan with a 4% company match, company paid holidays and generous a PTO plan.Should you meet the above requirements and qualifications and feel like this position seems like a perfect fit for you, please submit your resume along with a cover letter including your salary expectations.
